It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie M. Russo (Elmira, New York), born in New Albany, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Cheney and Hazel Cheney (Lewis); her husband Michael A. Russo; her son Joseph Russo; and her siblings, Marian Ewanyk, Betty Carpenter and Robert Cheney.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Russo of Elmira, Marie Sampson (Steven) of Elmira, Kathryn Kerr (Robert) of Deltona, FL and Theresa Holden of Pine City; her sister Priscilla Kinkaid of Kennesaw, GA; her brother-in-law Alan Carpenter of Elmira; and her pet Buffy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
