She was predeceased by: her parents, William Haltiwanger and Sophie Haltiwanger; her husband Edwin Alfred Hoyt; her son Daniel Lee Hoyt; her great grandchild Brandi; and her brothers, George and Dickey.
She is survived by: her pet Popeye; her children, Julie Hoyt of Burdett, Sophie Ingersol of Hornell, Karen Luvison of Sayre, PA, Johnny Rackley, Raymond Hoyt, Eddie Hoyt and Donny Hoyt of Hornell; her stepsons, Pete and Vernon; and her siblings, Jimmy, Carl, Billy, Carol Ray of Canisteo and Emily. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
