It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Carpenter of Elmira, New York, born in Dushore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Pastusic and Sophia Pastusic (Say); her husband Lewis Carpenter; her grandson Ross Trollinger; and her siblings, Joseph, Mary, Stanley, Paul, John, Michael and Francis Pastusic.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Bureau (Mark), Lori Glidden (Doug), Sandra Bergin (Dennis) and Luther "Scott" Carpenter; and her sister Helen Bohlayer. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
