He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold G. Thompson and Norma Thompson (Wightman). He is survived by: his wife Susan Burr; his children, Daniel Thompson (Amy) of Conway, AR and Nicole Ackerman of Little Rock, AR; his grandchildren, Matthew Thompson and Kira Ackerman; and his brother Robert Thompson (Priscilla) of Wellsville. He is also survived by one niece, one nephew and several step-children.
