He is survived by: his wife Marie Whitesell of Elmira; his children, Terri Olszowy (Douglas Oakes), David Olszowy (Jeanne) and Thomas Olszowy (Joan); his stepdaughter Sherry; his grandchildren, Kyrie, Katherine, Kristina Olszowy and Anna Marie Olszowy; his former wives, Joan Marie Przygoda Olszowy and Jeanne Knapp Olszowy; and also Mandell.
