It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Joseph Gilbert (Elmira, New York), who passed away on July 21, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gilbert and Frances Gilbert (Wolfe); and his sister Catherine Rose Gilbert. He is survived by: his sister Patricia A.; his brother-in-law Gerald Sweeney; his niece Kelly Ahearn (Joseph); his significant other Kerry Keck Ames of Elmira; his pet Matty; his friends, Sheila Hungerford, Greg, Julie Hungerford, Colleen, Mark Titus and David Carr; and also Aiden.
