It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Haupt of Elmira, New York, who passed away on July 7, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roswell Haupt and Margaret Haupt (Brown); and his sister Nancy Haupt. He is survived by: his grandsons, Phoenix and Kadence; his wife Mary Haupt of Elmira, NY; his children, Jessica Gittens (James) of Seneca Falls, NY, LeeAnn Sinclair (Patricia) of Rutland, MA and Daniel John Haupt (Arika) of Westerville, OH; his grandchildren, Felicity Castellaneta, Xavier Castellaneta, Aiyanika Gittens and Xander Haupt; his great grandchildren, Paisley Grace Elliott and Raelynn Emery Elliott; and his siblings, Richard Haupt (Olivia), Gary Haupt (Karen), Gail Hicks (Bob), Michael Haupt (Dawn), Ginger Pringle (Peter), Steve Haupt (Sandy), David Haupt (Sue) and Mary Beth VanGorder (Chris). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
