He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Truesdell-Monroe and Richard Jardin; his sister Deborah Jardin Toliver (Ron); his son Glen Jardin; and his wife Dorothy Harris-Jardin.

He is survived by: his brothers, Danny Jardin (Palma) and Donny Jardin (Shirley); his former wife Nancy Moss; his children, Candy Jardin Anderson (Tom) and Immanuel; his grandchildren, Madisyn Jardin and Cody Carpenter-Jardin; his stepdaughters, Missy Redder Wilkinson and Maribeth Elmquist (Kevin); his daughter Katie; his stepson John Augustine; and his girlfriend Sandra Detamore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
