She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. George L. Evans; her parents, Goldie Rockwell (Carpenter) and Arthur B. Rockwell; and her brother Leonard Rockwell. She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Sherwood, Mary Alice "Mae" Jones (Warren) and Sue Shaylor (Jon); her grandchildren, Meggan Nugent (Adam), Hannah Valle (David), Adam Sherwood (Lindy), Abby Brotherston (Craig), Kelsey Carapella and Megan Shaylor White; her great grandchildren, Mason, Jaxson Nugent, Lucas, Josiah, Annaliese Valle, Zalayna Brown, Zayden Rodrigues, Sianna, Aliza, Arelia, Tammy Hope Brotherston, Alexis and Eleanor Sherwood; her great great grandchild Ayce Voorhees; and her friends, Alice Nichols and Rev. Wilma Hoose.
