He is survived by: his wife Karyn Cox Ripley of Elmira; his sons, Jared, Jordon (Julia Holleran) and Jace Ripley; his parents, Karen Carpenter and James Carpenter of Elmira Heights; his siblings, David Ripley, Jr. (Nora) of Elmira, Melissa Parker (Randy) of Horseheads, Corey Ripley (Missy) of Elmira Heights, Jim Carpenter (Jessica) of Big Flats, Andy Pierce of Elmira and Ben Pierce (Hannah) of Elmira; his parents-in-law, Mary and Bill Cox of Horseheads; his siblings-in-law, Abbie and Dennis Motsco of Bethesda, MD; and his close friends, Chris and Karyn. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
