He is survived by: his parents, Jodi Austin and James Taft (Wendy Cota); his siblings, Alan Curkendall (Carrie), Anthony Curkendall and Tammy Scheffert; his half-siblings, Sean Cota, Tyler Cota, Jordan Taft, Jayden Cota, Jeremiah Taft, Amber Cota, Meaghan Cota and Sara Taft; and his grandmother Judy Granick. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Brandon's name can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
