He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea Blye and Marie Blye Sr. (Mitchell); and his siblings, Hosea Blye Jr., Herman Blye, David Blye and Elaine Damon.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Blye (Patterson); and his children, Anthony "LaSha" Patterson (Lisa), Krystal Alington (Wayne), William James Blye II (Kim), Marcus Blye (Lindsay) of Japan, Michael Blye (Kelly) of Vermont, Vanessa Harer (Graigery) and Elizabeth Zaffarese (Joseph). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorial Donations in Billie's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
