Bertha H. Thompson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha H. Thompson of Elmira, New York, born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy W. Thompson; and her daughter Anita Quartman. She is survived by: her children, Leroy H. Thompson, Quinn M. Thompson, Gayle Richardson and Roberta Green; her sisters, Jammae Butler and Carolyn Hill; her grandson Alexander Green; her siblings, Lela Stewart, Kathryn Bolden, Archie and Thomas Jenkins; and also Jahmiere Bell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (433 Walnut St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
