She is survived by: her children, Michael Wakefield (Julie) of Elmira, Kayla Seals of Elmira and Timothy Seals (Adrianna); her grandchildren, Michael Wakefield, Jr., Mikai Wakefield, Khloe Washburn, Jamilah Hooks-Wakefield, Gi'onna Seals, Jamari Hooks-Wakefield, Tashay Wakefield, Valentino Wakefield and Chavez Wakefield; her siblings, Wakefield, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Mary Bryant of Thomasville, GA, Margaret Wakefield of Tampa, FL, Linda Wakefield of Thomasville, GA, LaVerne Lewis of Elmira, Thomas Wakefield of Kissimmee, FL and Marvin Wakefield of Elmira; her aunts, Verdell Cooper of Thomasville, GA and Virginia Bryant of Thomasville, GA; and her friends, Shelly Brown of Elmira and Sheila Comfort of Elmira. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walter J. Kent Funeral Home (858 Lake St, Elmira, NY 14901). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
