It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert M. Allen of Elmira, New York, who passed away on October 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Albert M. Allen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Barbara; his parents, Albert M. Allen Sr. and Irene Johnson Allen; his brothers, Richie Allen and Ronnie Allen; his daughter-in-law Kathleen "Kathy" Dickinson Allen; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Lillian Ferguson; his cousin Al "Frosty" Frost; and his brother-in-law Gerald Vople.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Alyssa (Jason Swingle); his great grandchild Storm Michael Swingle; his grandson Zachary Allen of Elmira, NY; his son Gary; his daughter-in-law Karen Allen; his granddaughter Chelsey (Nick Cummings); his great grandchildren, Asher and Aiden; his grandson Shane Allen (Melissa) of Florida; and his sister-in-law Patsy Volpe.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of his Life will be scheduled at a later date when family and friends can get together and feel free from the COVID-19 Pandemic. The family would like to thank Woodbrook for the care he received and the friends he made there the last 3 years. And in recent days the dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff that cared for him at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center on the 5D COVID-19 care unit.
