Cozad IV of Elmira and Jennifer (Ryan McKinley); his grandchildren, Kevin and Ryan Thein; his brother David; his sister-in-law Linda Cozad of Elmira; his sister Nanette; and his brother-in-law Paul Wyak of Horseheads. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
