The passing of Larry Gene Vanderhoff of Elmira Heights, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Vanderhoff and Lora Vanderhoff (Jones); his brother Gerald Vanderhoff; and his sister-in-law Catherine Vanderhoff (Cookie). He is survived by: his wife Audrey C. Vanderhoff; his children, Stacey Oparil (Jake), Marty J. Vanderhoff (Linda), Sheila A. Washburn (Billy) and Larry S. Vanderhoff; his grandchildren, Bryan, Eric, Kristin, Jenn, Steven, Emily, Katie, Kyle and Alexis; his siblings, Yvonne Kepler (Frederick) and Leslie Vanderhoff (Buster); and his pet Beulah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oakwood United Methodist Church (210 Oakwood Ave, Elmira, NY 14903). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
