He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dodson and Mary Dodson; his siblings, Joseph, John Dodson, Mary Thomas and Rosetta Poteat; and his children, Jon-Marc Dodson and Victoria Dodson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Dodson; his children, Craig Dixon, Julius Dodson Jr., David Dodson (Kristin), Jacquelyn Dodson and Robyn Johnson; his great grandchildren, Sade', Aurora, Cassidy, Nerissa, Josiah, Aneisa, David Jr., Naquay, Shawntiara, Tre, Destiny, Craig Jr., De'shon, Allen, James, Fred, Serena, Julius III and Logan; and his brother William Dodson Jr. (Norma). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
