James E. Kowulich Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James E. Kowulich of Elmira Heights, New York, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though James may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kowulich and Elizabeth Simmonds Kowulich; and his brother William E. "Stick" Kowulich. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Kowulich; his sons, Joseph Kowulich, Cali Johnson of Ithaca, NY and Michael Kowulich of Rochester, NY; and his sisters, Barbara Kowulich of Rochester and Beverly Kowulich of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and a host of caring friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Presbyterian Church (921 College Ave, Elmira, NY 14901).
