In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Florence K. leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Florence K. may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Kendall and Oliver Kendall; her brother Oliver Kendall Jr.; and her husband William Colegrove. She is survived by: her children, Allison Campbell (Lewis) of Clifton Park, NY, Allen Colegrove of Elmira Heights, NY and William Colegrove (Beth) of Horseheads, NY.; and her friends, Dotty and Kathy. She is also survived by 5 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Methodist Church (210 Oakwood Ave, Elmira Heights, NY 14903).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Southern Tier Association for The Visually Impaired, 719 Lake Street, Elmira, NY 14901, as Florence battled with lifelong Macular Degeneration.
