He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Scriven and Mildred Scriven (Higgins); and his son Bruce Scriven. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Scriven, Jackie Watts and Jamie Cullen (Peter Perry) of Elmira Heights. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
