She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Updike and Vera Updike (Jordan); and her granddaughter Emily Ermold. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Susan (Dennis Edwards) and Robert (Christine Ermold, Jr.); her grandchildren, Renée, Drake Leichtfuss of Las Vegas, NV, Dennis Edwards of Syracuse, NY, Mary Edwards of Columbus, OH, Marcus, Viviana Vigil of Cuba, NM and Lucas Ermold of Sterling, AK; her great grandchild Camilla Vigil of Cuba, NM; her brother Edward; and her sister-in-law Karen Updike of Church Hill, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
