He was predeceased by: his brother Gerald Rueger (late Darlene). He is survived by: his mother Penelope "Penny" Wurtz (John); his siblings, Cheryl Hatch (John), Cindy Wicks (Clayton), Elizabeth Carberry (Christopher), Randall Rueger (Marybeth), Russell Rueger (Maryann), Ronald Rueger (Darlene) and Harold Long; his stepsiblings, Laurie VanOrder and Kathie Wurtz; and his aunts, Marcia McGlarry (John), Melissa Smith (Craig) and Suellen Lash (Alan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Suburban Adult Services, Inc., in Roger's name.
