He was predeceased by: his sibling Freda Salem (Paul). He is survived by: his children, Amal Ziadi (Nabeel), Jacob Hanania (Kim), Susan Gorski (Stephen), Violet Ulrich (Jeffrey) and Sylvia Skowronski (Timothy); his siblings, Jamal Hanania (Naimah), Farid Hanania (Connie), Mary Bateh (late Joseph), Musa Hanania and George Hanania; and his siblings-in-law, Hind Hanania and Nada Hanania. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
