He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Veley and Mina Loomis Veley; his wife Dorene; and his brothers, Lawrence and Donald.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sue (Rocky) of Adams and Starr Stockwell (Jeff) of Belleville; and his grandchildren, Josh, Taylor and Kristin.
