He was predeceased by: his mother Stella Hovey (Green). He is survived by: his children, Raymond Hovey of Arizona and Stella Hovey of Machias, NY; his grandsons, Roman and Leonardo Hovey; his stepchildren, Steve Baker of Jamestown, NY and Sharon Haley of Jamestown, NY.; his brother Chris Hovey of Georgia; and his cousin Jacquelyne Phillips of Cattaraugus, NY.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks are required and a 33% occupancy will be observed.

Memorials may be made to the Ellicottville Volunteer Fire Department.
