It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Szur of Ellicottville, New York, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joseph J. Szur. He is survived by: his wife Julie Armagost; his daughters, Jaime Bond of Bradford and Sarah Phillips of Olean; his grandchildren, Jenna Bond of Sebastian, Bella Bay of Olean, Wyatt Bond of Bradford and Camryn Hewitt of Smethport; his pet Retriever; his siblings-in-law, Fred and Debbie Colosimo; his nieces and nephews, Tim Colosimo and Chris (Katie) of Bradford; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Black (Tim Bridge) and Doreen DieDionisio (Louie) of Harbor Creek; and his cousins, Nancy Levell (Mike), Helen Levell and Alice Lefler (Scott).
In lieu of flowers, memorials, if desired, may be sent to Nannen Arboretum, Ellicottville, NY for the planting of a tree in John's name, the Cattaraugus SPCA in Olean, NY, St Jude's Research Hospital, Shriners Children's Hospital, or Roswell Park Cancer center in Buffalo, NY.
