She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Smethurst and Georgina Smethurst; her husband Paul Burkhard; her daughter Jamie Lynn Vaughan; her son-in-law Robert van Campenhout; her granddaughters, Julia and Olivia van Campenhout of Hamilton Ontario; and her stepson Sam Burkhard of Charleston.
