He was predeceased by: his parents, James Darby and Peggy Harmon Darby Kramer; and his siblings, Jim, Kevin, Dan and Theresa.
He is survived by: his sisters, Genevieve (Frank Tracey) and Eileen (Jim Schilling) of Cornwall-On. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and six grandnieces and grandnephews.
An intensely private person, Joseph had social distancing down to a fine art long before it became common practice, preferring the company of animals of all kinds, particularly his dogs.
