With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Slegona Sr. of Ellenville, New York, born in Livingston Manor, New York, who passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Slegona and Arretta Slegona (Davenport); his former wife Brenda Slegona; and his sister Dorothy Montalvo. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Slegona (Gorr); his children, John Slegona (Lisa), Luther Slegona (Michelle) and Audrey Hammerl (Steve); his stepchildren, Stella Sabatini, Darren Ward, Melissa Ross and Ryan Ward; and his siblings, Theresa Slegona, Louis Slegona, Larry Slegona and Wayne Slegona. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
