She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Rodriguez and Carmen Ortiz; her husband Carmelo Oquendo Sr.; and her brothers, Benjamin Rodriguez and Roberto Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Morales of Florida, Jose Montanez (Lori) of South Carolina, Sonia Garritt (David) of Highfalls, Janet Laracuente of Ellenville, Yvette Laracuente of Florida and Carmelo Oquendo (Tracy) of Pennsylvania; and her siblings, Rosa Sansebastian of Ellenville and Antonio Rodriguez Jr. of Puerto Rico. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
