He is survived by: his children, Linda Kracht (Thomas), Emma Maio (Bruno), Ernest Simpson, Jr., Sheila Gerlach (Bobby), Dennis Simpson (Debra) and James Michael Simpson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
