He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl S. Smith and Clara Etta Cook; and his siblings, Donald Smith of Carrollton, Georgia. and Nancy Smith of Napanoch. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Leonard Quick Sr. of Napanoch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a few cousins.
