It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berdella A. Smith (Ellenville, New York), born in Middleburgh, New York, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel VanDyke and Beatrice VanDyke (Edwards); and her brother Lawrence VanDyke. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Fredenburgh; her granddaughter Kimberly Costa (Fernando); her great grandchildren, Colby, Jordan and Craig; her granddaughter Stacey Fredenburgh; her great grandchildren, Virginia and Terri; her grandson Ronald Fredenburgh; her great grandchild Shyanne; her grandson Daniel Fredenburgh; her great grandchild Adina; her nephew Bruce; and her nieces, Nancy, Beth, Sue, Debbie, Diane and Denise.
Memorial contributions may be made in Berdella's name to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
