With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shantel L. LaFountain of Ellenburg Depot, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 26. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shantel may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Sandra LaGoy, Madeline and Elmer LaFountain. She is survived by: her daughter Ryleigh Jean Weightman; her grandfather Wallace LaGoy; her parents, Ellen LaGoy and Terry LaFountain; her sister Stephanie LaFountain; her niece Avalynn Cole; and her nephew Braxton Cole. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
