He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy J. Bashaw (Clark); his parents, Edgar A. Bashaw and Ethel Bashaw (Desourdy); and his siblings, William, Annabel Bushey, Ethel Mattox and Dorothy Montville.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cora Severance of Tx, Bonnie Sampt (Louis) of Ct, JuneMarie Leonard (Ronald) of Ct and Katherine Davy (Andrew) of Ct; his siblings, Mary Ratliff, Evelyn Dickinson, Harry, Verne, Fred and Oril Bashaw; his children, Joseph, Donna Ramonas, Melanie Cocca and Cynthia Bernabi; and his grandchildren, Rebecca, Tonya and Robert A Cocca Jr.. He is also survived by 9 granddaughters, 3 grandsons as well as being a great-grandpa and a great great-grandpa.
