He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barton and Doris Barton (Burnett); his stepdaughter Linda Connor; his siblings, Ruth, Barbara and George Barton; and his former wife Eleanor.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly (David Newton) of Oswego; his grandsons, Christopher, Jacob and Carter Newton; and his stepchildren, Katherine O'Conner, John Kilcoyne (Jeanette) and Danny Kilcoyne (Debbie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
