He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude Schreader; his stepmother Lillian McLaughlin; and his son Gordon F. McLaughlin Jr.. He is survived by: his father James McLaughlin; his wife Doreen; his sons, Stephen, Daniel (Annette) and Kyle (Sarah); his granddaughter Amy Foster (Todd); his half-sister Carol Springler; and his granddaughters, Amanda, Hannah and Olivia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
