He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett McClurg and Ethel McClurg (Weidrich). He is survived by: his wife Catherine McClurg; his children, Allison Brill (Steven) and Jeremy McClurg (Susan); his sister Bette Koch (Carl); and his mother-in-law Alice Ohl (late Joseph). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital http://www.stjude.org or Northgate Free Methodist Church or donor's choice.
