The memory of Ellsworth E. Norton of Elba, New York, who passed away on April 16, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Norton and Francis Norton; and his siblings, Charles Norton, Eugene Boldt, Marjorie German and Susan Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Norton (Madill); his children, Dean Norton, Curt Norton, Charles Norton, Chris Norton and Robin Warner; his children-in-law, Travis Warner, Melanie Norton, Carol Norton, Lynn Norton and Sarah Norton; his grandchildren, Kara, Chris Kenderish, Charles Jr., Emily Norton, Amanda Norton, Callee Norton, Kyle Norton, Aiden Warner, Adison Norton, Carson Warner, Fletcher Norton and Grace Norton; his great grandchildren, Grayson Kenderish, Charlotte Norton and Oakley Kenderish; and his siblings, Beverley Reamer, Joyce Sixt (Ron Sixt), Linda Richenberg and Robert Norton (Judy Norton).
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Elba (31 S Main St, Elba, NY 14058). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elba Central School, c/o District Clerk, 57 South Main Street, Elba, NY 14058 for the establishment of the Norton Family Legacy and Leadership Fund to help support various activities and the Charles H. Norton award at their beloved family Alma Mater.
