With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan C. Wieszala of Eggertsville, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin N. Wieszala; her daughter Melissa Taravella; her parents, Edward Poe and Della Poe (Hunt); and her brother George Poe.
She is survived by: her daughter Christine A. Smith (late Gregory M.); and her grandson Aaron Taravella.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) (885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14226).
