With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Douglas W. Matthews (Edwards, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Ralph "Peanut" W. Matthews; and his brother Jody Matthews. He is survived by: his mother Sally J. Matthews (Allen); his sister Buffy Matthews (Robert Wilson); his sister-in-law Kim Matthews; his niece Brittany Daniels (Adam); his nephew Matthew (Mitch); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaac, Nolan Hall, Kinsley and Owen Daniels. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the French Funeral Home Inc. (188 Main St, Edwards, NY 13635). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
