He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay L. Brown and Leva E. Brown (Westcott); and his siblings, Raymond Brown (Betty), Harold Brown (E. Natalie), Irene Johnston (William), Alan Brown (Carol) and Paul Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Brown (Laura) of Edmeston, Lori Ryan (Chris) of Otego and Lynn Peterson of Unadilla; his grandchildren, Allison Decker (Tim), April Thorp, Brooke Harris (Kahle), Kyle Peterson (Tyler), Raven Brown and Justin Brown; his great grandchildren, Jaiden, Vaeda, Lochlan and Douggy; and his sister-in-law Sharon Brown of Eaton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
