She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rood and Florence Rood (Mykel); her husband John Turnbull; and her siblings, Robert Rood Jr., Lawrence Rood, Arthur Rood, Edward Rood, Gladys Eldred, Patricia DeForest and Dorothy Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Simmons (Robert) and Vivian Turnbull; her siblings, Mykel Rood (Deb) and Mary Bush (John); and her grandson Timothy Simmons. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to Chase Memorial Nursing Home Resident activities Fund or the Edmeston Emergency Squad in memory of Ruth.
