Catherine H. Corey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2022, at the age of 101, Catherine H. Corey of Eaton, New York, born in Luzerne, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hughes and Hannora Hughes (Caveney); her husband James H. Corey, Jr.; her children, Susan Dubois (Dan) and Robert; and her siblings, Frances Hughes, James Hughes, Veronica Green, Mary DeGraeve and Helen Merritt.

She is survived by: her children, James III (Carol Jean) of Norwich, Michael (Diana) of Calabash, NC, Catherine Hood, Richard (Kathy) of Norwich, David (Kay) of Sherburne and Barbara Corey-Edick of Norwich; and her daughter-in-law Sarah Corey of Alaska. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
