With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Fix of Eastchester, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard and Doris. He is survived by: his wife Christine Naughton Fix; his son Michael J. Fix (Alicia Luongo Fix) of Melrose, MA; his grandchildren, Lillian Fix and Michael Peter Fix; his son Paul A. Fix (Kathryn Harvill Fix); his grandchildren, Wyatt J. Fix, Virginia Fix and Evelyn Fix of Riverside, CT; his brother Thomas Fix; his sister-in-law Kathy Fix of Torrington, CT; his niece Tracey Fix; and his nephews, Brian Fix and Stephen Fix. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and two brother-in-laws in Ireland; cousins.

“Mike and I were very close friends, at Torrington High and Fairfield Univ. We spent many happy times in Greenwich Village NYC, and at '61' and '65' Class reunions, and in touring old haunts. More recently we spent time together over elaborate dinners, with other close classmates in Jupiter and Stuart FL. We also stayed in touch by phone over the years and even Zoomed with several classmates. Mike was a wonderful, kind, caring, generous friend and remains with me in spirit. Len Pietrafesa”
