She is survived by: her husband William Michael Whealan, Jr.; her children, David Whealan (Maria), Bernadette Silverstein, John Whealan (Elysa Blacker), Paul Whealan and Regina Smith (Peter); her grandchildren, Benjamin Silverstein, Diana Whealan, Julia Whealan, Eamon Smith, Madeline Silverstein, Liam Smith and Andrew Whealan; and her brother Dr. Thomas F. O'Connor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
