It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Fortunato (Eastchester, New York), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. (190 Main St, Eastchester, NY 10709). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (53 Winter Hill Rd, Tuckahoe, NY 10707).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
