“I was a teaching colleague of Len's at Fayetteville-Manlius HS for many years and my wife, Pattie, and I became couples friends with Len and Bette for much of this time. How sad we are to hear of his passing and also sad to be reminded of how Len and Bette's later years were cut short by terrible illnesses. We recall Len as a gifted conversationalist with a keen comic sense. We recall both Len and Bette as devoted parents, joyful in their household. May they together rest in peace.”
