He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Grugett and Alvin Eldridge Grugett; and his sister-in-law Dorace D'Alessandro. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Eva Ferrara (Greg Ferrara), Jaclyn LaRosa (Greg LaRosa) and Stephanie Grugett; his sister Lucy Grugett (Sally Owens); his grandchildren, Alessandra, Gregory, Christian, Julian and Micaela; his brother-in-law John D'Alessandro; and his nieces and nephews, Petrina Vaidie (Florant Vaidie) and Douglas D'Alessandro.
